Sometimes you think your life will go a certain way and then suddenly it doesn't. I am a certified Scrum Master and have been in various IT roles for the last 27 years. My contract came to an end, at the end of June and I thought it would be a straight line into my next role/job. Sadly, that hasn't been the case - I apply daily and was simply not finding employment.
Thanks to my mother and great genes, I am quite handy and have done a range of crafty, sewing things throughout my life, so when this curveball came my way, I decided to embrace it and try something new. My mother and I started making my daughter's dance outfits, and then started helping out with alterations at the dance school, doing alterations for friends and neighbours and now we have even branched out to making Mermaid Tails - you cannot make this up! We sew and alter a range of things, and it really fills my cup in a way I didn't imagine possible. We meet so many lovely people every day and we learn new things every.single.day. It has been amazing. We've even branched out to offer basic sewing lessons at a very reasonable rate - try us!
So welcome to our family and we look forward to being of service to you - there is no ask too big or too small, we are here to embrace all of it and support you.

Mother, daughter, granny, sister, friend, Super Woman! Most importantly, MY mother, with whom I am enjoying this new phase in our lives more than you could ever imagine! She has literally taught me everything that I know, and in fact, continues to teach me daily. I love her with every fiber of my being, and feel utterly blessed to spend my days working with her on all the exciting projects that come our way.
